SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't completely finished the Forest of Giant Trees mission, skip the part in the curly brackets.
Levi sat in his office, smothered in paperwork. He scrawled and looped and signed. Every piece was the same. A squad getting approved here, a wallist rebellion there…
Eren shifted in his chair, furrowing his brow as he sifted through some pages. Hanji had assigned him several articles on the history of the walls, hoping that the boy could think of how his Titan powers came into play.
A comfortable silence had filled the room, broken only by Eren’s frequent fidgeting. Levi sighed. The boy was incorrigible; all he ever wanted to do was kill Titans.
The little office was quite humid after last night’s thunderstorm. Moisture assaulted Levi’s crisply ironed uniform, making him frown in disgust.
He stood up, reaching the window in two easy strides and throwing it open. A soft breeze drifted into the room, alighting on his ivory skin as he sat down.
Straightening his papers, he moved on to the next documents.
He stopped when he saw the page labeled “New Recruits”. Deep in his heart, in a little crevice that never saw the light of day, he wondered who would succumb to their latest mission. Who would die under his command?
Then he became himself again. Scanning the document and scribbling a signature at the bottom, he acknowledged that he read it.
They died at his command, but they didn’t die for him. They died for humanity. Humanity would remember their sacrifice and honor them for it. Heck, they were heroes.
After a few minutes, Levi glanced at his clock. Nine thirty. A meeting.
“Let’s go, Eren.”
“Yes, sir.”
Irvin had called all the commanding officers to discuss sealing Wall Maria. He briefed them over the development of the plan, informing them that the three branches would be working together. The Military Police representatives grumbled audibly, and the Garrison members looked tense. Hanji yelled throughout the whole meeting, making his head pound.
Once the briefing was over, Levi went to supervise the cadets’ training. Today, they were honing their sparring skills. He allowed Eren to join his friends and watched as the boy skillfully landed a hit.
For the rest of the day, he buried himself in work. Endless meetings, paperwork, and training awaited him.
The day flew by, leaving wispy tendrils of memory swirling around his mind.
He climbed into bed. Scratchy sheets engulfed him in their ghostly folds.
Sorrow flicked her bloody hair and kicked him in the stomach. Pain trickled under his chest and crushed his heart.
He couldn’t even remember all of them anymore.
{{{
The most recent deaths were still fresh in his mind. Petra… Günther…Oluo…Eld…he could see them being torn open, feel their still-warm blood upon his skin, hear them cry his name.
And of course, the old squad.
}}}
Angelika…Florian…Niklas…Lea. Their shadowy forms flickered beside him, just out of his reach. He could see Angelika’s flowing red curls and hear Florian’s raspy laugh. His black-brown eyes met Niklas’ deep blue orbs and Lea’s forest green sapphires.
And [y/n]. Her shining eyes watched him, lips folded into a pout.
But the older faces flowed into one another, blending into a single blur. He could only distinguish a hair color here, a feature there.
They were supposed to die heroes, but were they not just nameless faces in a crowd?
“I’m sorry,” he sighed.
He didn’t even know how they all died. Did they fight until the very end? Or were the swallowed whole in some quiet alleyway?
And [y/n]…how did she die?

Troublesome Chapter 7 - Levi x Reader x Eren
"Damn it, damn it, DAMN IT!!" You cursed to yourself as you paced in your room. The echoes left by your heavy and hurried footsteps danced around in the small room you called home.
After the tension felt between you, Levi and Eren during training, it was becoming too much for you. You admitted to yourself that you had, unconditionally an irrevocably, fallen in love with the two men. Despite the original plan being to make Levi jealous had worked nonetheless, you felt as though you were making Eren jealous at the same time. His attitude towards you was too close for comfort sometimes, well maybe not that, more so realistic. Eren's actions tow

[Chapter 8] No Regrets [Levi x Fem!Reader]
You bristle at the sight of the four ends of a rifle being pointed at you, glaring at the cool-headed male in the center. With a wave of his hand, the soldiers lower their weapons, although one wrong move would have you shot in a second.
“At ease. I won’t hurt you.”
You snort, your eyes making a quick sweep over his small band of soldiers. “Could have fooled me.”
You see the corner of his mouth twitch, but that only makes your anger for him burn even more. After what he pulled back there…there was no chance in hell you were going to ever forgive him.
“Leave us,” he commands. The four men do

Just Move - Levi x Reader: Chapter 3
Your dreary eyes opened slowly, harshly greeting the morning sun streaming in through your window. You turned your head to window, cringing at the thought of having to get up out of bed. Especially after last night. Your gaze landed on your desk where Levi's jacket sat, neatly folded.
You suddenly sat up, eyes wide and fully awake.
"Crap! That wasn't a dream…?" you muttered incoherently to yourself while attempting to banish the sleep sand formed in the corner of your eye.
Looking to your clock, it read 1:47 PM. You abruptly sat up as you realised how late you had slept in.
Swinging your legs over the side, you adjusted the large w

Of course I don't resolve the 'cliffhanger'~ <3 And I leave another cliffhanger.
I think this fanfic will mostly be plot with fluff in between. Distance makes the heart more tender.
Part One: fav.me/d6jdcsy
Part Two: Look up?
Part Three: fav.me/d6k2u7g
Part Four: fav.me/d6l2kid
Part Five: fav.me/d6p4o7k
Part Six: Coming soon!
Thanks for reading! Comments would be much appreciated.
I own nothing!
P.S. My theory about Levi is that he's actually kind of depressed. He probably joined the Survey Corps when he was 15-17. Since he's about 30 now, he's been watching all his comrades die for about 15 years. That's gotta do something to you.
